How I Lost Tons of Money Not Doing This 1 Simple Thing
It’s true …I lost tons of money!
I was lazy and didn’t do this one thing that other successful internet marketers have been telling me to do for a while. Like most people sometimes you don’t do certain things in your business until you are ready.
I’m willing to bet that you aren’t currently doing this 1 simple thing either.
Why can I be so sure?
It’s not sexy, hardly any internet marketing product tells you to do it and it’s something that really only a small group of usually very successful internet marketers do.
Okay I’ll stop teasing you and tell you what it is…
“Split Testing”
See I told you, but the honest truth is I’m making way more money now that I have several split test running and several split test following up on the previous test.
I use Google’s website optimizer which you can find with a simple Google search.
What you do is choose an original page a variation of that original page and a conversion page. Then you simply paste a simple code into each of those pages that Google gives you to automatically track how each one converts and automatically figure out which one converts the best and how much better it converts until it’s certain there is a winner. All by sending them to the original page which rotates to the variation page automatically.
I’ve seen some crazy increases in conversions like nearly 200% and it’s exciting because it becomes like a game where you always win because you make more money.
You should do split test on opt in pages and sales page; you could even do some on affiliate sites. As long as you’re getting traffic to your page then it’s worth it to split test and when you’re getting a lot of traffic you can’t afford not to split test.
Just think if you have 1000 visitors come to your site and you increase your conversion rate for your $9 product from 1% to 3% you just increased the amount you make per visitor from $0.09 to $0.27 that means for 1000 visitors instead of making $90 you’ll make $270.
Not only do you bring in more money, you actually can afford to spend more money and that makes it easier to grow your business faster, so there are multiple effects.
